“Bunny McGarry (a name “borrowed” from the character in a series of books by Irish author Caimh McDonnel) is an alias for Pete Gillespie, a songwriter living in Denver.

Growing up in a family of 12 he was exposed at an early age to music. From the piano ditties Grandma would play in the parlor, to opera records his mother would spin on Saturdays, to the rock n roll album collections of his older brothers. He may have been one of the youngest in the audience when, at 13,  his brother let him tag along to a Led Zeppelin show – on a school night no less.

After putting music on hold for a long spell to help raise a family, he is back writing and recording.
